Business Challenge

The client had a website for showcasing their products on Magento 1.6. However, it lacked certain functionality the client desired. They wanted to upgrade their website from Magento 1.6 to Magento 2.3, as it could support the functionalities needed to expand their business. Moreover, the client wanted us to redesign their website and add certain custom features to the website, which was a challenge for us.

Business Solution

Team Zehntech diligently understood every requirement of Pavetech and successfully migrated their e-commerce website from Magento 1.6 to Magento 2.3. In addition to the migration, working with Pavetech gave us a great opportunity to develop a website from them from scratch using the default Luma theme by Magento. In order to accommodate the requirements quoted by Pavetech, we customized the Luma theme accordingly.

The client wanted to add a few features and functionalities to their website. We installed the following appropriate functions, plug-ins, and extensions to empower the client’s website with desired capabilities:

● Event management extension to make event registration quick and easy for users.

● Zoom functionality enlarges the product image when user hovers over it.

● Store locator to help users locate the closest store in their neighborhood.

● Welt pixel slider for making website navigation convenient .

●Payment Gateways: Authorize.net payment gateway was integrated into Pavetech website .

● ERP Integration: EPICOR Prophet 2.

The client is satisfied and happy with the website developed by us and we continue to partner with them on various other projects. The data on the e-commerce website of Pavetech was also successfully migrated from Magento 1.6 to Magento 2.3.
